Our Mission
The District of Columbia Health Care Association’s mission is to promote the ability of each member to operate in a cohesive way, through the work of the Association, to develop, implement, educate and assure the delivery of quality care to long term care consumers in a safe and secure environment.
The District of Columbia Health Care Association recognized and honored Dr. Solanges Vivens, RN, MSNA, LNHA, D.H.L. on May 18, 2018 at their annual convention by presenting her with a nursing scholarship for her 47 years of dedication, contributions and achievements in nursing and Long-Term Health in the United States of which 42 of those years were in the nursing home profession in the District of Columbia.
